Investigating with COVID-19

Updated: Jul 31, 2020

These are challenging times we live in right now. Especially if you are an essential worker or anyone that has to come face to face directly with the public. How should a team help people and still stay safe? I don't thinnk it's out of line to ask the family or people to wear a mask when you are in their home, maybe gloves (if not gloves make sure you wash your hands with soap for a good 20 seconds before you rinse), every investigator should wear a mask, I know how uncomfortable it is, but it's for everyone's safety. Safety glasses might even be a good idea. And above all, try not to touch your face.

After getting home from the investigation, it might be a good idea to throw your clothes in the washing machine and then jump in the shower yourself, using lots of soap. Just some good reminders to be safe and keep your distance also from people. Hopefully by the end of next year we won't have to worry about this.

So what are some ways you are going to try to stay safe if you are investigating?
