Guest Speakers
Jeff Belanger - Author
Jeff Belanger leads a very haunted life. He has been fascinated with the supernatural since age ten when he investigated his first haunted house during a sleepover. Since then, he has been a writer and journalist for various newspapers and magazines, and in 1999 he launched Ghostvillage.com as a repository for his writings on the subject of the supernatural. The site has since grown to become the largest paranormal community on the Web, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. Over the years, Jeff has interviewed hundreds of people about their experiences with the profound. His objective approach to the subject makes the supernatural accessible to a wide audience. He's written for many paranormal Web sites and print publications and is the author of several books.

Joshua Alper - Producer & Director
Joshua's career spans several decades, both on network and cable television, and he has a lot of experience in the strange and spiritual. Joshua directed many episodes of Unsolved Mysteries, hosted by Robert Stack. He also directed and produced many episodes of the History Channel series, Haunted History. This includes the episode on the Pacific Northwest. Joshua has even had a couple of odd experiences in his career that he'll be sharing.

Jefferson Davis - Author
Born in Vancouver, Washington in 1962, Jeff is in fact related to his namesake, Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederacy. Jeff is an Army brat who grew up playing in and around the Vancouver Barracks. This led to an interest in the military and history. Late night horror movies led to an interest in ghosts, mythology, and archaeology. After a three year enlistment in the U.S. Army, Jeff returned to college where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology. For several years Jeff worked for the U.S. Forest Service as an archaeologist in the Gifford Pinchot, the Boise, the Umatilla, and Mt. Hood National Forests. In 1995 Jeff and his wife moved to England for a year where he earned his MA in Archaeology at the University of Sheffield. His thesis topic was the lifestyle of the Viking settler in Greenland. That is where he received the inspiration for his publishing company name, Norsemen Ventures. In addition to his work as a freelance archaeologist and researching books on the paranormal, Jeff is planning on traveling to Greenland and producing a multimedia CD on the Vikings who settled there.
