The 2nd International Ghost Hunters Getaway
May 5th - 20th, 2007

After last year's trip to London and meeting up with the worlds oldest ghost hunting group The Ghost
Club. We decided it was time to go back for another taste of foreign culture. This year's trip as lots in
store for us.
Itinerary:
- Sat 5th
Leave for London, UK.
- Sun 6th
Arrive in, London UK
- Mon 7th
Free Day - Enjoy yourself
A few of us will be meeting up at a haunted pub (Ten Bells) for Sheri's birthday later that night.
- Tue 8th
We'll be meeting at Highgate tube station (Northern line) @10am
Visit East & West Highgate Cemetery - This is a large cemetery, so give yourself a few hours to see all of
it.
- EAST - Entry £2.00, Camera Permit £1.00 (Small cameras for private use only). No video cameras.
- WEST - There is only ONE TOUR at 2pm only (£5)
- Wed 9th
We'll be meeting at West Brompton tube station (District Line) @9am
Visit Brompton Cemetery - Again this is a large cemetery, so give yourself a few hours to see all of
it.
After words we'll be heading to the London Dungeon ($35)
Then there will be a ghost tour for that night throughout the streets of London (London walks) www.walks.com
(£5).
- Thu 10th
Meet at Victoria Station for National Rail @Noon (£20.20 / 30.30)
Leave for Eastbourne for a 2 nights stay for exploring.
- Fri 11th
Explore the local cemetery.
Ghost Club Investigation at Michelham Priory later that night in Sussex (£35 per person).
- Sat 12th
Ghost Club Investigation at Pevington Castle in Sussex.
After the investigation we'll be heading back to London.
- Sun 13th
Leave for the airport early in the morning for Romania.

- Day 1, May 13
Arrive in Bucuresti (around 3 p.m.).
Guide will meet you at the airport to pick you up and transfer to your hotel.
Special dinner at "Count Dracula Club" in Bucuresti.
- Day 2, May 14
After breakfast, drive to Sighisoara (almost 5 hours by car).
On the way - lunch on your own.
Visit Sighisoara - by day and by night.
Accommodation in Sighisoara.
Dinner on your own.
AGHOST cemetery exploration at night.
- Day 3, May 15
Breakfast
Brasov
Lunch on the way - on your own.
Visit Bran Castle (built in 1377 and now belonging to the descendant of the royal family of Romania).
Visit the mediaeval Brasov (time to decide if you want to win a title and become a noble - please read the
description of the ceremony of the knighthooding in our Classic Dracula tour (www.mysteriousjourneys.com - under
Dracula Initiation Tours/ Classic Dracula - Level 1).
Accommodation in Brasov.
Dinner on your own.
- Day 4, May 16
Drive across the mountains back in Valahia.
After you visited Castle Bran, stop in Sinaia too - the former residence of the kings of Romania and visit
the other domains of the former royal family - Castle Peles, the most beautiful in Europe.
Accommodation in Sinaia.
Dinner on your own.
- Day 5, May 17
On the way back, visit Targoviste and the historical traces of Vlad the Impaler, touch the walls of his palace.
Lunch in Targoviste.
Continue to the village of Aref. The Arefeans came at night and managed to take the prince all the
way to Transylvania, across the high Carpathians. Vlad rewarded them with 16 mountains as pastureland - no
wonder Aref remembers Vlad Dracula 500 years apart.
Accommodation and dinner in private houses in Aref.
- Day 6, May 18
Climb the hill to the historical fortress Poienari (1456 steps to the top) - rebuilt by Vlad with the
traitors boyars.
Back to Bucuresti.
Visit Snagov monastery (we need a special permission from the Patriarchy and hope to obtain it).
Accommodation in Bucuresti.
Free night in Bucuresti (dinner, disco, night clubs on your own).
- Day 7, May 19
Departure from Romania. Arrive in London for Ross' Lecture for the Ghost Club.
- May 20th
Leave for Home
Important details about your haunted getaway:
- You will be responsible for all your flights.
- You will need to book your own hotels in London and the 2 nights in Eastbourne.
- This is only open to AGHOST & Online Members, also members of the Ghost Club
- For those going on to Romania, please have your flight arrive around 3pm on the 13th to be picked up by our
private shuttle.
- For those who would like to stay on for Ross�@~Y lecture for the Ghost Club. You may request a one day
layover with your airlines on the 19th

Important details on the Romania package:
- Cost for Romania Trip (does not include airfare).
- 7 days/6 nights - the price in Euros is:
771.00 Per person for double occupancy.
866.00 Per person for single occupancy.
(Current exchange rate can be obtained at www.oanda.com)
- This price includes the following:
- Transfers from/to the airport.
- Land transport by deluxe minibus (14 seats).
- Accommodation in 3* and 4*(in Sinaia) hotels.
- Breakfasts
- Dinners in the Day 1 - at "Count Dracula Club" in Bucuresti and in the Day 5 - in the village of Aref.
