- meaning a disembodied soul; especially,
the soul of a dead person believed to be an inhabitant
of the unseen world or to appear to the living in
bodily likeness
Paranormal
- meaning "beyond-normal"
But what is "normal"?
Normal is defined as phenomena that can be explained
by known physical laws of nature. Most people fear
the unknown and what they don't understand which
is why many fear the paranormal.
Ghosts
have been talked about since the beginning of time.
Belief in an afterlife is an important part of every
culture.

Ancient
Egypt
Created the "book of the dead" which was to
guide the soul to it's final destination for judging and
rebirth. The soul had 2 parts "ba & ka".
Ba carried the personality and character traits as where
ka was the life force.
Greek
For thousands of years honored their dead, by inviting
the spirits into their homes for a feast.
Roman
Called their spirits "Lares" these ghosts acted
as their guardian angels, but also had evil spirits called
"Larvae" . which a three day festival was held
to make these spirits happy so that they would leave.
Chinese
Honored their ancestors by throwing 3 different rituals.
Hindu
Honored their ghosts with a party called "The Hungary
Ghost Festival" which lasted for 10 days.
Mexico
The day of the dead, folks would picnic on the family
grave site in remembrance of those whom past. In early
times they would dig up the skull of their family members
for this event.
Israel
Early Hebrew scriptures talk of the living trying to contact
the dead.
